BOLIVAR - Midvale (2-1) in defeating previously unbeaten Tusky Valley (2-1) Jim Albaugh (1-0) started and received credit for the victory, although Neal Beans (1-0) came on to hurl to the last batter with 2 men on base. Albaugh permitted 5 hits, all singles, while Ron Lake (1-1) was charged with the loss. He was tagged for 12 hits. Warren Leggett and Beans each had 3 hits for the victors, while Don Ickes contributed a double and single and Albaugh had 2 singles.
