61 - Gnaden Slips By TV 4-3 (5-1-61)

GNADENHUTTEN - A sacrific fly by Dave Struchen pushed across the winning tally for the Indians in the bottom of the seventh inning.  Glenn Miller scored on the long fly with the bases loaded, ending the game.  John Rauzi (1-0) went the distance for the win and had great control as he went all the way without allowing a walk.  He fanned 9.  Mike Widder (2-1) was the loser, fanning 6 and walking 3.  Each team had 8 hits.  Ron Lake had a good day at the plate for TV with a triple and 2 singles, while Widder had 2 doubles and John Solvery one.  Dick Shull and  John Weaver each had 2 hits for Gnaden and Rauzi collected a double.
