BALTIC - Al Cerett almost went around the horn by unleashing a single, double and triple to lead Tuscarawas Valley (3-1). Larry Lautenschleger paced Baltic (3-1) with 2 singles as the Eagles went down to their first loss of the season. Mike Widder went the distance for TV, fanning 4 and walking one, while permitting 4 hits. Larry Lautenschleger (3-1) was charged with the loss. He struck out 7, walked 3 and hit one batter, while permitting 8 hits. Widder added a single and double to the Trojan cause.
