STONE CREEK - Determined to better their record of last year when they went winless, the  Stone Creek Panthers will be relying on youth in its quest for Tuscarawas County League Baseball honors this year.  Coach Ken Lawhun, in his second diamond season at Stone Creek, has only one Senior among 15 candidates this year.  Thirteen of the prospects are Sophomores and Freshmen.  Larry Stephon, a hard-throwing Senior and Sophomore Ed Wallace, are the only returning pitchers for the Panthers.  Bob Hamilton is the lone Junior, while other Sophomores include Jerry Lahmers, Jan Billman, Art Scott and Gary Wires.  Freshmen candidates are Jim Barker, Dave Burrier, Bob Burrier, Bud Sauser, Paul Deibel and Cliff Bahmer.  The Panthers open play next week and are included in only league games this year.
