STONE CREEK - Joe Aul, Frank Welling and Dan Sliffe led Strasburg's victory. Aul and Welling had a single and double apiece and Sliffe 2 singles, accounting for 6 of Strasburg's 7 hits. Jim Clymer (1-4) started for the Tigers (2-6) (2-7) and worked 5 innings before he was relieved by David Dayton (1-1), who finished the game. They combined to limit Stone Creek (0-7) to 5 hits. Larry Stephon (0-4) went the distance for Stone Creek. Bob Hamilton led the winless Panthers at the plate with a double.
