MIDVALE - Jim Anderson (1-1) set the pace for the Devils in the neat no-hitter as he went the first 4 innings and blanked the Panthers. Mike Page, Jim Albaugh and Neal Beans followed him to the hill in the perfect day. The foursome fanned 13 and walked 7. Ed Wallace (0-2) was the loser, allowing 9 hits with Bob Byers and Warren Leggett each collecting 2 safeties apiece, one of Byers' going for a double.
