Tuscarawas High School (Broncos) Senior Slugger - Jerry Grove (Triple and Single)
TUSCARAWAS - Dick Ronald's Tuscarawas High baseballers (5-2) (5-3) pinned a setback on Baltic (0-3) (0-4) here Tuesday with Tim Reed (1-0) taking the win and Tim Metizler (0-3) the loss. Reed allowed just 3 hits, walked as many and fanned 8. Meitzler was reached for 5 safeties, passed a trio and fanned 6. Senior Jerry Grove and Junior Gary Cerana both had a triple and single for Tuscarawas and teammate Jeff Maxwell slapped out a double. Ron Maurer had a triple for Baltic.
