64 - Tusky Slides Into 1st Place With Win Over Tusky Valley 6-5 (5-5-64)
Tuscarawas High School (Broncos) Sophomore Pitcher - Ray McWilliams (Winning Pitcher 1-0)
TUSCARAWAS - Dick Ronald's Tuscarawas Broncos (4-0) (4-1) slides into the top of the Tuscarawas County Class A League baseball play Tuesday, tripping Tuscarawas Valley (0-2) (1-3). Ray McWilliams, the 3rd moundsman, got credit for the win here Tuesday, with Tim Reed starting and Jeff Maxwell finishing up. The trio walked 6 and gave up 3 hits. Dave Widder, in relief of Smith, took the loss. The duo was reached for 7 safeties and passed 5. Clugston had a double for the Trogans. All Bronco hits were singles.
