COSHOCTON - Port Washington (5-12) closed out its regular season downing Coshocton Sacred Heart here Saturday night.  It was nip-and-tuck all the way, with Port Washington leading 22-14 at the 1st stop, 40-32 at the half and 54-52 after 3 periods.  Sacred Heart knotted the count in the  final frame, but couldn't get enough steam to go ahead.  Hampered with two regulars benched with foul trouble, the Riders won the game by controling  the boards and hitting three more field goals then their opponents as the squads broke even from the foul line.  John Foust, subbing for Jim Bender who left the game on personals in the 4th quarter, pulled out the victory by hitting 4 shots in the crucial last period as the Irish pulled with two.  Four Purple Riders reached 2 digits, Steve Bender leading  the way with 17 points.  Jim Bates added 14, Leonard Cameron got 13 and Bob Casteel 11.  Port Washington hit on 28 of 60 action shots and 21 of 28 charities Sacred Heart was 25 of 83 and 21 of 32 free throws.  The Port Washington Reserves (6-8) won their game over the Coshocton Sacred Heart Reserves, but no statistics were reported.
