ZOARVILLE - Garaway (4-0) (5-1) whipped Tuscarawas Valley (0-3 (1-4) here Wednesday to hike its Tuscarawas County Class A Baseball League record. The Pirates, who have lost only to Strasburg (3-1) (5-2) in tournament activity, got a fine pitching performance from Jim Wheeler (2-1) who allowed 6 hits, walked 3 and struck out 7. Gary Adams (0-2) was the loser, permitting 8 safeties, passing 4 and fanning 8. Randy Miller, Don Deetz and Wheeler all had doubles for Garaway which scored twice in the 3rd inning and again in the seventh. Both Trojan markers came in the seventh. Burrier and Adams had doubles for Tuscarawas Valley.
