WEST LAFAYETTE - Dick  Ronald's Tuscarawas High Broncos (9-10) outgoaled tough West Lafayette (13-3) by one here Saturday night, but lost the decision in their season finale.  The Broncos sank 35 of 74 action shots to 34 of 73 for the Generals.  But, the hosts tossed in 17 of 32 charities to 13 of 19 for their guests.  West Lafayette led by 12 points at one time in the 1st frame and was in front 22-16 at the stop.  Tuscarawas went ahead 36-32 at intermission and was on top 65-58 going into the last period.  The Broncos had a 12-point advantage on one occasion.  The Generals' second-half began to tell on the Broncos in the final frame and the hosts went ahead with a minute left.  The Broncos tied the game with 8 seconds remaining.  Tuscarawas finished the game with only 2 regulars on the floor as 3 went out on personals.  "Gone" were Phil Caldwell, Richie Eckhardt and Roger Knisely, who burned the hoops for a career high of 31 points.  Caldwell, highest scoring Bronco  all season, sat out the entire 2nd stanza because he had 4 personals.  He saw limited duty in the 3rd and 4th.  "The boys played a real good game," Ronald said.  The West Lafayette Reserves lowered-the-boom on the tough Tuscarawas Reserves (13-4) 56-47.
