61 - Port Washington Launches Baseball Season Roster (8-30-60)

PORT WASHINGTON - Port Washington High School Baseball Team, under the tuteledge of  Richard King for the second season, will open play September 8 when it travels to Garaway.  King has 8 lettermen around which to build this year's combine.  They include Seniors Jim Bender, Gary Gay, Jim Hannahs and Bill Phillips; Juniors Alvin Fillman, Tony Nigro; and Sophomores Larry Laisure and Tom Loader.  The remainder of the schedule follows:  September 15, Baltic; 19 at Gnadenhutten; 22 Stone Creek; 26 Garaway; October 3 at Baltic; 6 Gnadenhutten and 10 at Stone Creek.
