61 - Port Walks The Plank In Pirate Win 9-4 (10-4-60)

BALTIC - Baltic (4-3) extended its County Fall Baseball League record yesterday when it defeated Port Washington (3-3).  Larry Lautenschleger (1-2) started and went the distance for the Eagles, fanning 9 and walking 4, while permitting 5 hits.  Jim Bender (1-3) and Larry Laisure (1-0) pitched for the Riders.  They combined for 6 strikeouts and 6 walks and were touched for 11 hits.  The Eagles put the game on ice in the fourth inning when they scored 6 runs.  Larry Lautenschelger and Jack Miller drove in 2 apiece with singles.  Dick Gerber aided the victorious attack with 2 singles.  Bill Phillips and Jim Bender had doubles for the Riders.
