60 - Baltic Downs Garaway Foe 7-5 (4-30-60)

BALTIC - Baltic (5-2) defeated the Garaway Pirates (5-3).  The Eagles, have one game remaining  to play.  They face Tuscarawas at 9AM Monday morning here.  The 2 teams previously played to a 3-3 tie that was called at the end of 7 innings because of darkness.  John Rice (4-0) chalked up the victory for the Eagles, striking out 12, walking 3 and permitting 8 hits.  Bob Raber (2-1) was relieved at the end of the first inning after permitting 4 hits and 4 runs by Dan Bleininger (3-0).  Bleininger permitted 3 runs and 3 hits.  Gary Mast hit a Home Run and Gary Gerber doubled in the victorious attack.  Leading the Pirates was Charles Stingel with a Home Run and double and Tom Andreas with yet another Home Run.
