John Landon (1-5) was the losing pitcher and was touched for 11 hits, fanned 1 and walked 2. The Eagles put together a triple by Charles McPherson, doubles by Gary Mast and Larry Lautenschleger for 4 runs to break the game wide open in the second inning.
