61 - Gnaden Blasts Stone Creek 14-2 (9-30-60)

STONE CREEK - The Gnadenhutten Indians High School Baseball Team (4-1) wrapped up its 4th win Thursday to retain the Fall League leadership, trouncing Stone Creek (0-6).  Dave Struchen (2-0) posted the win although receiving aid from freshman Don Garrett (0-0) in the final 2 frames.  The pair fanned 9 and walked only 3 and allowed 3 hits.  Larry Stephon (0-1) was the loser on 14 hits as Stone Creek dropped its 6th staight decision.  Leading the winning barrage were Dick Shull with a double and triple, Carl Dichler with a double, John Rauzi with a triple and Struchen with a double.  John Weaver, sidelined with a bad ankle since before the season opened, finally got into the linep and collected 3 hits in 3 trips.
