61 - Port Washington Finishes Off Stone Creek 10-5 (10-11-60)

PORT WASHINGTON - The Port Washington Purple Riders (4-4) concluded its best Fall baseball campaign in 4 years yesterday when it defeated Stone Creek 10-5 for its 4th win in 8 games.  Larry Laisure (2-1) hurled the win, permitting 7 hits and 5 walks.  Larry Stephon (0-2) of Stone Creek, was touched for 10 hits and yielded 3 walks.  Jim Bender led the winners with 3 for 4 including a double, while Bill Phillips smacked a double.  Stone Creek finished it campaign winless for the last 2 years.
