60 - Tusky Rolls Over Malvern In District 5-0 (5-14-60)



SUGARCREEK - Gary Caviness (4-0) sparkled on the mound for Tuscarawas (9-1) when he fashioned a 2-hitter.  Malvern's Miller doubled in the fourth inning for the Hornet's lone extra-base hit.  Chet Summers singled to drive in Tuscarawas' initial marker in the third inning.  The Broncos came back in the fourth inning for another run on 2 walks and a passed ball.  In the 7th inning Tusky scored 3 runs on a walk, wild pitch, singles by Chip McCahill and Caviness and triple by Carol Vesco.  Caviness struck out 8 and walked 3 in hurling the victory.  Ron  Romano was charged with the defeat.  He walked 7 and whiffed 14.
