Port, Stone Creek Gain In Standings (2-5-55)

The stage was set for the second meeting of the Midvale and Strasburg basketball teams next Friday as both came through with league victories last night. Strasburg kept its league record unblemished by rolling to a 74-37 win over Sugarcreek-Shanesville while Midvale remained within striking distance by defeating Gnadenhutten 65-56. Stone Creek downed Bolivar 70-60 and Port Washington clipped Mineral City 67-47 in other games. The Baltic-Tuscarawas game was postponed while Dundee was idle in the circuit in last night's round.
