Coach Bray Toot took it easy on the "Old Timers" at Port Washington last night and used his Purple Riders (5-3) (13-5) varsity only the last quarter to notch a 50-47 victory over the Alumni in a March of Dimes benefit game that netted about $30.00 Norman Frank and Dale Veley led the varsity with 13 and 12 points respectively, while Jim Gallion tossed in 11 for the Alumni.
