The rampaging Gnadenhutten Indians (0-0) (4-0) continued their undefeated skein last night at the expense of Port Washington (0-1) (2-2) as they downed the Purple Riders. The Riders, going down to their second straight loss after two victories, stayed with the Indians of Coach Dick Scott for three quarters before a 21-point outburst by the Tribesmen in the final period decided the verdict. Coach Bray Toot's Riders were in front 12-8 at the first stop, but fell behind 27-23 at half time and trailed by only 38-36 at the final intermission before the barrage of baskets by the Indians. Glen Hines peppered the nets for 22 points and Eldon Miller added 12 to pace the Indians while Jim Meek tallied 10. Port Washington was topped by Paul Frank and Tom Jones, each with 12 markers. It was 50-42 with Port Washington (3-1) over Gnadenhutten in the Reserve game.
