67 - Rain Halts Garaway-Tusky Game (4-18-67)










Head Coach Tom Andreas and his Garaway baseball team are pictured above:  Greg Mani, Dean Miller, Mike Baab, Kim Neff, Rich Richardson, Ken Snyder, Rod Fender, Larry Harding, Blake Angel, Manager Jeff Troyer, Al Vild, Fred Yoder, Errol Miller, Ralph Sundheimer, Bob Farver, Don Lorenz, Dan Banks, Tim Miller, Mike Miller, Leon Sexton, Dick Frankhauser and Coach Andreas.



SUGARCREEK - With only 4 innings played, the baseball game between Garaway (1-3) and Tuscarawas (1-1), was called with the score knotting at 3-all.  Pitching for the Broncos was Phil Johnson (0-1) and Phil Simmons (0-0) who gave up 7 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 2.  Gerber (0-0), for Garaway, fanned 3 and gave up 5 hits, all singles.

Fred Yoder connected for a triple (1), and Errol Miller and Gerber each had their 1st doubles of the year for Garaway.
