GNADENHUTTEN - Bill Kohl (2-0) and Roger Huebner (0-0) combined for a 2-hitter yesterday as the Indians (2-0) continued their undefeated baseball season, whipping the Conotton Valley Rockets. Sharp and Leggett were the only Rockets able to connect for hits, both singles, as the Gnaden duo combined to strike out 15 and issued only 2 bases on balls. Palmer was the losing pitcher, as he and Hunt joined to give up 16 hits and 2 walks, while fanning 4.
Kohl led the hitting barrage with a double and single to account for 4 runs and Finnicum had 3 runs on a double and a single. Mike Kail had 3 hits (4) and Dave Moore, Wayne Martin, Roger Huebner and Hooper each collected 2.
