GNADENHUTTEN - Bill Kohl, Gnaden's strong lefthander, gave future batters a warning of things to come as he hurled 5 innings of no-hit ball yesterday afternoon before yielding to cold weather and a big lead. Gnaden (1-0) blasted the Tuscarawas Broncos (0-1) by 15 runs as Dan Jinks clubbed 3 doubles in 4 trips to the plate. Others leading the onslaught were Mike Kail with 2 for 4 including a triple (1) and Darrel Laughlin with a pair of singles (2). Dave Moore doubled (1) for another extra base hit. Tusky catcher, Rich Schumaker lined a double (1) to left off Gnaden's Kail (0-0) who took over for Kohl in the 5th inning.
Phil Johnson (0-1) started on the hiff for the Broncos and was followed by Brent Lehigh (0-0) in the 4th and Phil Simmons (0-0) in the seventh. Kohl's performance included 7 strikeouts and 3 walks, while 6 Tusky errors aided the coasting Kohl.
