Midvale (5-0) (11-1) and Gnadenhutten (6-0) (10-2), who have made the fight for either Tuscarawas County Class "A" League or tournament honors practically a family affair in recent years, are involved in another crucial clash tonight. The rivals, who own two of the best records this year in county circles, will be battling it out on the Gnaden court for undisputed leadership in the current league race. Since 1936, Midvale has won the league title 10 times, while Gnadenhutten has won it only twice. They'll be meeting for the second time this season. Gnadenhutten was responsible for the lone Midvale loss of the season in a 78-76 conquest December 16. Gnaden has lost to Tuscarawas Valley (9-1) and Freeport (10-2). It's tonight's feature of a 4-game league card. Tuscarawas Valley (3-1) (9-1) invades Stone Creek (2-3) (8-6), Garaway (2-3) (9-4) faces up-and-coming Strasburg (1-4) (3-8) there, and Tuscarawas (1-3) (3-8) is at Baltic (2-3) (7-7) in other games. Port Washington (0-5) (2-10) is idle in loop warfare this weekend.
