Ron Bradley of Gnadenhutten not only continued as the No. 1 pointmaker in the Class A ranks, but the Indian ace increased his lead margin by 10 points. His 298 points - a 27.1 game average - are 48 better than runnerup John Rice of Baltic. Most of the other top scorers maintained their positions. Gary Gerber of Baltic still was third with 230 points, Ron Breniser of Midvale fourth with 220, Jim McAfee of Stone Creek fifth with 218, Gary Caviness of Tuscarawas sixth with 206 and Bill Phillips of Port Washington seventh with 199. McAfee and Caviness were newcomers to the 200-point group last week. Phillips should join the circle this week along with numerous others. Team play last week marked the "death" of the last undefeated team in the county. Tuscarawas Valley, after eight straight victories, went down to an 81-56 loss at Midvale Friday night. The Blue Devils are the county's winningest team with a 10-1 record.
