Gnadenhutten (6-2) defeated Midvale (1-6) 8-5 and Wainwright (7-1) downed Port Washington (2-6) 12-2 in County Midget League games played yesterday. Rauzi of Gnaden tripled and hit two doubles in his own behalf as he fanned nine Midvale batters to get the victory. Albaugh was the losing hurler. Joe Legget homered for Midvale. Sandy Bonvechio hit a homer and a single, Carl Vesco cracked out a triple and a single and Dennis McCahill homered to pace Wainwright's victory. Richard Brown limited Port to two hits while fanning seven to get the victory. Jim Bender was the losing Port hurler. Tony Nigro and Bill Phillips got the only two Port hits, both singles. Friday's schedule has Port Washington with an open date. Gnadenhutten at Tuscarawas (2-3) and Wainwright at Midvale.*
