Strasburg, Stone Creek, Tusky, Midvale Triumph (11-23-55)

TRAILING FOR 31 minutes and 57 seconds and by as much as 26 points on one occasion, the Baltic Eagles (1-0) (1-1) roared back to an overtime 86-78 triumph over Bolivar (0-1) (0-2) as the Eagles joined Strasburg (1-0) (2-0), Stone Creek (1-0) (2-1), Midvale (1-0) (2-0), and Tuscarawas (1-0) (1-1) in victorious Tuscarawas County League opening wins last night. There were two other scorchers as Charles Seldenright's pair of fouls in the fading seconds turned the tide for Midvale 63-62 over Port Washington (0-1) (1-1-) and Stone Creek capitalized on foul shooting and Ronnie Deibel's 30 points to bounce Mineral City (0-1) (0-1) by 92-78. Strasburg had a comparatively easy time against Dundee (0-1) (0-2) which was an 84-50 victim of the Bengals while Tusky smacked down Sugarcreek-Shanesville (0-1) (0-2) 74-57. In the other area fray last night Gnadenhutten (3-0) took Warsaw into camp 75-50. Stone Creek returns in action tonight when it appears at Fresno.
