Gnadenhutten (7-3) pinned a 5-2 upset on loop-leading Wainwright (9-2) in the County Midget League last night as John Rauzi hurled a 4-hitter. He fanned six and walked only one. Second-place Gnaden combed the offerings of Rich Brown for eight safeties. Conway set the pace with a homer in the 3rd and a single. Weston homered in the 6th. Dennis McCahill hit a double and triple for Wainwright. Tuscarawas (6-4) was a 10-3 winner over Port Washington (2-9). John Centoben pitched the win, scattering 10 safeties. Tusky also collected 10 hits, Ramsor getting a homer and double, as Melvin Brick was charged with the setback. Two makeup games remain to be played before the league season ends. Wainwright will go to Midvale (2-8) Tuesday night. Gnadenhutten and Tuscarawas also are booked, but the date has not been set.*
