STRASBURG'S sharp-clawing Tigers (1-0), all powerful in area Class B basketball circles last year, shoot for their 30th county league victory in a row when they tangle with Dundee (0-1) in one of five circuit encounters tonight. The Tigers of Ken Newlon appear at Dundee in search of their second straight decision in the new hardwood campaign while Tuscarawas (0-1), Mineral City (0-0), Baltic (0-1), and Port Washington (1-0) will also be scenes of league shot-making. Sugarcreek-Shanesville (0-1) will be at Tusky (0-1), Midvale (1-0) at Port. Stone Creek (1-1) at Mineral City, Bolivar (0-1) at Baltic (0-1) while in another spin Gnadenhutten (2-0) hosts Warsaw. Mineral City, coached by Bob Penrod, will be making its 1955-56 season's bow against Stone Creek, but all other county teams will be taking part in their second, or third skirmishes. Gnadenhutten has emerged victorious in two starts while Midvale and Port won their only tussles. Stone Creek has gained a split and Sugarcreek, Tusky, Baltic, Dundee and Bolivar bowed in their debuts. Last season Stone Creek whipped Mineral City three times, Baltic topped Bolivar twice, Midvale and Port split two games. Sugarcreek-Shanesville downed Tusky once and Strasburg took the measure of Dundee once. There will be a contest tomorrow night when Stone Creek visits Fresno.
