Port Washington (6-3) (12-5), last obstacle to another unbeaten loop season for Strasburg, had little difficulty in romping to an impressive victory over Tuscarawas (5-5) (6-10) as the Broncos failed to provide expected opposition. The Purple Riders led 21-12, 41-22 and 52-34 at the breaks en route to their 12th victory. Nick Frank's spree of 13 field goals and four foul tosses for 30 points sparked the Port Washington attack, while Ed Bates had 18, Tom Jones 12 and Denver Glazer 11 for the Riders. The Broncos were topped by Bob Vesco and Ted Riggle with 13 and 12 points, respectively. In the Reserve game, Tuscarawas cut down Port Washington (13-3) 50-46. The Port Washington Graders (4-3) also lost to Tuscarawas 39-32.
