Tusky (9-4) came through with the county Midget League title by edging past Wainwright (11-4) 3-2 in a pitchers duel between Rainsberg and Sandy Bonvechio. In claiming the Midget Title, Rainsberg fanned 11, while Bonvechio struck out 15. Tusky had five hits and Wainwright had four safeties. Pete Cerano was the big bat for the Midget champs with a homerun, a triple and single.*
