Tuscarawas County Basketball League Standings (1-11-58)
Last night's battles in the Tuscarawas County Class A loop saw the Strasburg Tigers (9-4) take it on the chin for the second time in league play this season when they were dropped 53-52 by the Stone Creek Panthers (7-6) on Harold Baker's two foul shots in the fading seconds. Gnadenhutten's Indians (11-4) romped to a 85-50 decision over the Garaway Pirates (6-6), while Baltic (8-4) dropped the scrappy Port Washington Purple Riders (1-10) 81-69. Idle were league-leading Midvale (9-2) and Tuscarawas (3-6), while Tuscarawas Valley (6-4) defeated Uhrichsville in an independent game. * * LEAGUE STANDINGS * 1. Midvale 3-0 2. Gnadenhutten 5-1 3.
