With Rod Reinhart and Jim McAfee scoring far more than enough points between them to win the game, Stone Creek's Panthers had little difficulty in romping over Port Washington (0-4). The host Purple Riders trailed 13-7, 36-13 and 50-28 at the rest breaks as Coach Ed McGlumphey's Panthers kept the net swishing. Rod Reinhart rimmed 31 points, while Jim McAfee was runner-up with 26. Dan Wherley contributed 10 points to the winning effort. Coach Bill Oppenheimer's Riders were paced by Tom Gardner and Don Jones with nine and eight points, respectively. In the Reserve game it was Stone Creek 49 - Port Washington (1-3) 39. The Port Washington Graders (1-1) started the sweep by Stone Creek losing to them 34-17.
