PORT WASHINGTON - In a County high school baseball game here yesterday, the Baltic Eagles downed the locals 4-0. Starting on the mound for the Eagles and getting credit for the win was Dick Lautenslater, who whiffed four and walked three. He was relieved in the 3rd by Bob Slabaugh, who fanned 10 and walked five. On the Mound for the losers was Jim Bender (0-1), who permitted six hits, struck out two and walked five. John Rice led the Eagles with a homer and two singles and Gary Gerber garnered a double. Tom Gardner and Ron Phillips had singles for the Purple Riders' only two hits. Port Washington is now (1-4).
