Midvale Shocks Strasburg (2-23-57)

Midvale's Blue Devils (13-9) completed the rout of Strasburg (18-3) from tournament play by defeating the County Class A League Champions 62-54 in the semi-finals of the consolation division of the annual county classic at Memorial Hall. Midvale will meet Tuscarawas Valley (17-5), 73-66 winner over Port Washington (13-8), tonight at 7:30 with the victor advancing to sectional play which starts February 27 here. The other two berths will be filled by Stone Creek (18-4) and Gnadenhutten (19-3). They will meet for the county tournament title tonight at 8:45. It was Stone Creek which handed Strasburg its initial defeat 69-52 on Thursday night.
