The defending champion Midvale Blue Devils (11-9), eliminated from the championship bracket by Stone Creek (17-4) Thursday night, will take on Tuscarawas, at 7:30PM. Midvale defeated Tusky (2-18) in the first game of the tournament and then the Broncos whipped Dundee (1-21) to move into quarter-finals in the consy bracket. At 8:45 Baltic (14-8), winner over Sugarcreek (10-12) in a consy tilt Thursday night, will battle Port Washington (12-8) who was defeated in championship play by Tuscarawas Valley (16-4). Action will conclude after tonight's games, but semi-finals have been slated for next Thursday and Friday with finals on Saturday night. Stone Creek will face the stiffest task next Thursday when they meet the county league champion Strasburg Tigers, while in the other contest, powerful Gnadenhutten (18-3) takes on rangy Tuscarawas Valley. Two consolation games are then booked for Friday night between the winners of tonight's games and losers of next Thursday night's tilts. Finals in both the championship and consolation brackets will get under way Saturday at 7:30.
