Strasburg "Terrific" Tigers concluded their basketball season last night by sauntering past the hapless Dundee Bulldogs 82-22 and in doing so strengthened three almost unbeatable records. First, they won their fifth consecutive undefeated Tuscarawas County Class A Basketball League championship. Second, they notched their 50th straight county league game and third, the victory was their 41st home court decisions in a row. Tuscarawas Valley, beginning to come out of a slump, took over undisputed fourth place in the league as it concluded it's first season of basketball by handing Baltic a resounding 73-36 setback. In other action the Midvale Blue Devils blasted Port Washington 86-59 to gain a tie with the Purple Riders for sixth spot; and Sugarcreek copped a 75-66 verdict over Tuscarawas for eighth position as league play ended.
