BOLIVAR - For the second time in a week (this time in a non-tourney game), a Tuscarawas Valley pitcher has thrown a no-hit victory. Ben Price turned the trick Friday afternoon as he held Strasburg hitless, while his mates pounded out a 12-0 triumph. Chuck Locker turned the trick earlier this week in a 3-0 victory over Baltic. Price faced only 23 jmen over the 7-inning route. He struck out nine and walked two. He hit one batsman. Strasburg used four pitchers in an effort to halt the Trojans. Jim Clymer, Bill Seese, Tom Jones and Don Warnes all toiled, but they had trouble locating the plate. The quartet walked 13 men and gave up only seven hits. Tusky Valley clinched the victory with three runs in the second inning when Jim Studer doubled, Earl Johnson reached on an error, Mike Widder walked and Dale Lundenberger singled. The Trojans added two in each of the next two innings, four in the sixth and another in the seventh.
