Port Washington High School was looking for a new head baseball-track coach and assistant in basketball following the resignation of Mark Covert. Covert, who is putting new life in track at Port this year, quit in order that he might locate near his home at Mentor, Ohio. He also plans to be married soon. At Port only this year, Covert assisted Tom Davies in basketball, while heading the track and baseball fortunes. John Toth, Port principal, said he regretted the resignation which is effective at the end of this school year. He added that "Mark could work for me anytime."
