GNADENHUTTEN - Gnadenhutten High Coach Bob Gaume reported this morning that his only two returning lettermen in baseball would be sidelined for this Spring's campaign. The State runner-up will have to go without the services of outfielder Ron Clark and pitching ace Ron Bradley, both of whom played important roles in the team's success last season. Clark suffered a bruised right shoulder when he attempted to pole vault and can not throw - but may be able to bat occasionally. Bradley was riding his motor bike home and as he approached his residence the bike slid on wet pavement and he injured his hurling arm, skinning his right leg and hip. He was hospitalized overnight, but returned home yesterday. A cut on his right arm required 16 stitches. Bradley complied an 11-1 record last Spring and has a 30-3 mark for his high school career. Coach Gaume said Dave Struchen will probably hurl the Indians opener Monday night at Wainwright, but hasn't decided who will take Clark's place yet.
