PORT WASHINGTON - Tuscarawas (2-4), which snapped a four-game losing streak last week, rolled to its second straight victory here last night by upending Port Washington (0-7) 67-55. The Broncos were never in trouble as they built up 17-6, 35-24 and 55-33 quarter leads before Port Washington shook off some of its lethargies in the final quarter to outscore the victors 22-12. Port did come up with one accomplishment. The Purple Riders held Gary Caviness, Tuscarawas scoring ace, to one of his lowest outputs of the season - 18 points. Caviness still led the Tusky attack with Dick Robinson, Bud Eckhardt and Bill Johnson all amassing 14. Diminutive Bill Phillips captured scoring honors; however, with 29 points. The Tuscarawas Reserves stopped the Port Washington Reserves (1-6) earlier 55-36.
