BEACH CITY - Beach City's Pirates made it two straight here Saturday night when they swamped the Port Washington Purple Riders (0-2) 67-33. Port, under new head mentor Tom Davies, suffered the second loss in as many nights, having lost to Stone Creek (2-0) Friday night. John Spidle led the way for the winners with 31 points, while Bill Phillips hit for 11 for Port Washington. The Pirates, who lost all their games last season, took a 12-0 lead and coasted the rest of the way over the fighting, but outclassed visitors. Beach lead 38-16 at half time. In the Reserve game, Beach City clobbered Port Washington (1-1) 32-25.
