Strasburg, Stone Creek, Tusky Valley Tied For County League Lead (12-22-56)

The Strasburg Tigers are beginning to shape up as the team to beat again in the Tuscarawas County Basketball league after the results of last night's games were tallied. The Tigers chalked up their third straight loop victory and seventh win in eight starts as they defeated the Gnadenhutten Indians 63-46. The Tribe now has a 3-1 mark in loop and 7-3 record in all games this season. The victory forced the league lead into a three-way tie as the Stone Creek Panthers racked up their third straight win in loop action by downing winless Tuscarawas 66-44 and the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans nipped Midvale 74-73 for its third loop win against no losses. The Trojans have a 7-1 season mark. In the other league contest Port Washington broke into the win column in the loop with a resounding 83-60 decision over Sugarcreek.
