Basketball steps up its tempo this week with games scheduled for county quintets on three different nights. Busiest evening of the week is Tuesday when five contests are booked, while single games are on the docket for Wednesday and Friday evenings. Gnadenhutten's Indians go after their second win in as many starts tomorrow as they trek to Warsaw, while Stone Creek, loser to the Indians, travel to Port Washington where the Purple Riders launch their campaign. Strasburg's defending sectional champions, under new coach Charles Caniford, open their season at Dalton, while Dundee's Bulldogs are at Baltic and the Trojans of Tuscarawas Valley pry the lid off their first season at Sugarcreek. Stone Creek is at Walnut Creek on Friday night.
