Scoring all their runs in the initial stanza, the Port Washington Purple Riders (2-1) tripped the Stone Creek Panthers (1-2) in a county scholastic baseball game yesterday on the winners' diamond. Coach Jim Pfeiffer's Riders raced three runs across as Denver Glazer and Larry Stocker each singled and Jerry Hannahs (2-0), the pitcher, tripled and then scored on an error. Stone Creek scored in the second inning on singles by Bill Ellwood, Dan Wherley and Jim McAfee. Jerry Hannahs fanned six batters while McAfee struck out 11.
