Tuscarawas Valley and Gnadenhutten emerged at the top of the pack in the Tuscarawas County Class "A" basketball league last night as both schools racked up impressive victories. The Trojans turned on their potent defense and held Tuscarawas as they chalked up a 66-28 decision, while the Indians blasted past the high-scoring Baltic team 86-61. In the other county league game Stone Creek defeated Sugarcreek 69-61. The fourth loop contest between Midvale and Dundee was postponed and will be played December 15th. The victories put Gnaden and Tusky Valley at the top of the standings with two wins, while Strasburg and Stone Creek are tied with a decision apiece. Baltic has the third spot all to itself as they boast a 1-1 mark. The rest of the teams are in the cellar with single losses.
