STRASBURG - TV's ball hawking Trojans (2-0), using a rough, rugged press, tamed the Strasburg Tigers (1-3) last night.  Tusky Valley, still displaying much of the same ruggedness it used on the football field this past Fall enroute to an undefeated campaign, committed a total of 31 personal fouls.  But the miscues did not deter their chances for victory as they took a 21-10 bulge at the end of the first stanza, and maintained 34-18 and 55-30 margins at the next 2 stops.  Strasburg had trouble getting the ball over the 10 second line  in the opening period against the Trojans' rugged defenders and tallied only 2 goals.  They ended with only 13.  Jim Studer connected for 11 points to lead the first period drive and ended the night with scoring laurels on his 27-point total.  Al Cerett, limited to one goal in the first half, broke loose for 5 in the third quarter and added another in the final stanza to tally 14 points, while Ron Lake connected for 11.  Jim Clymer topped the Tigers with 17 points.  Tusky Valley coach Bob Heller who saw starters Lake and Mike Widder foul out in the final period remarked after the victory.  "We still foul too much.  We'll gradually smooth out, but there's still a lot of work ahead, particularly on  defense."  Losing Coach Warren Binder, who has the youngest squad in the county said, "We're young and we're green and that's why we're making a lot of mistakes.  We'll keep working to overcome them and try out best against the veteran teams we'll be playing in the county this season."  Tusky Valley connected 25 times in 69 attempts from the field for 36.2 percent, while making 21 of 31 from the free throw line.  Strasburg meshed 13 of 45 goal attempts for 28.9 percent and made 20 of 35 from the charity line.  The Strasburg Reserves (3-1) edged the Garaway Reserves (0-2) 21-19.
