61 - Hiland Smashes Strasburg 80-36 (1-23-61)


BERLIN - The Hiland Hawks (13-1) sent the Strasburg Tigers (1-12) to their 12 straight defeat of the season here Saturday night when it waltzed to their triumph.  The Hawks travel to Baltic Tuesday night.  Hiland and Strasburg had completely opposite nights from the field.  The Hawks poured in 35 fielders in 75 attempts for 46.6 percent, while the Tigers could manage only a weak 20.3 percent mark when it hit 13 of 64 field tries.  Phil Miller and Andy Ahijewych tallied 18 points apiece in the Hawk victory, while Dave Mast scored 12 points and  Art Mullet 10.  Jim Clymer topped theTigers with 11 points.  The Hiland Reserves toppled the Strasburg Reserves (7-5) 49-30.
