BALTIC - Baltic (3-4) (8-10) gave league leading Garaway (7-0) (16-2) all it could handle for over 3 1/2 periods.  But the Eagle cause was dealt a big setback with 3 1/2 minutes to play when Charles McPherson, their top rebounder, suffered his fifth personal foul.  At the time the Eagles were leading by 5 points.  Garaway pulled 2 points ahead at which time Baltic's Gary Mast was taged with his fifth personal.  From there on out the Pirates, who had a dismal night from the field, found much easier sledding.  Outgoaled 20-17, Garaway found prolific success at the free throw line where it took advantage of Baltic's fouling to mesh 30 of 39.  Baltic led by as much as 11 points in the second quarter.  But in the second half Garaway made 11 free throws in each  of the third and fourth quarters to stay in contention and finally go ahead with approximately two minutes to play.  The Eagles made 15 of 25 charity tosses.  Bob Raber and Tom Andreas led the victory with 18 and 15 points, respectively.  But Jarret Gray came through with a fine clutch performance in the  final  period when he scored 9 points.  He ended with 11.  Larry Lautenschleger turned in an all-around job and snared the night's scoring laurels with 26 points.  The Garaway Reserves (8-5) edged the Baltic Reserves (9-8) 46-44.
